How long will my hair extensions last?
You should expect your hair extensions to last between 3 and 6 months. A lot depends on the type of hair you get between synthetic hair extensions and human hair extensions. Human hair extensions last longer than synthetic hair extensions.
How do i maintain my hair extensions?
Little maintenance is needed to keep your hair extensions looking their best. Do make sure that you tie your hair back when you go to sleep at night. At MaryClaris Hair Extensions, we recommend a weave cap for your hair extensions when going to sleep.
How about shampooing an conditioning?
Keeping your hair extensions looking their best is important. At MaryClaris Hair extensions, we recommend shampoos and conditoners specially formulated for your hair extensions. We have a long list of satisfied customers who have used our recommended shampoos and conditioners to keep their hair extensions looking their best.
Can I colour my hair extensions or my hair?
You can colour your hair at the roots when you have hair extensions. We don't recommend colouring the hair extensions. In most cases, you will find that it's easier to either have the colouring done before you put in the hair extensions so that they both match or better still ensure that your hair extension stylist selects the hair extensions that best fit your hair colour. However, you can still colour your hair extensions, but please email us for the types of colours that are safe to use on your hair extensions.
Typically, fusion hair extensions are removed by a special bond remover. At maryclaris we carry different kinds of bond removers. Our bond removers are protein based. Why is that important? Protein based removed are gentle on your hair and will not damage it. We have seen our fair share of people who have had distaster hair days due to incorrect bond removers applied.
